About the project
En Route. Une vie. Des voyages. is a life project that began in 2026 with the desire to create truly meaningful experiences for seniors.
The inspiration for this project comes from my grandparents - Laura and João, Luísa and Lança. It was with them that I learned the true meaning of empathy, kindness, respect, hard work, and the courage to face new challenges. Their teachings and their way of life awakened in me the desire to create a service that values people, their stories, and the importance of continuing to live new experiences at every stage of life.
I've always enjoyed organizing, planning, and turning ideas into reality. I believe that traveling is much more than just visiting new places: it's about creating memories, discovering cultures, experiencing moments of joy, and strengthening relationships. Therefore, each program is fully personalized, respecting the pace, interests and needs of each client.
En Route flourished precisely from this conviction: to provide Seniors with opportunities to continue discovering, socializing, traveling, and creating new memories, always with close and reliable support and a truly personalized service.
Traveling is much more than just reaching a destination: it's about feeling good, experiencing new emotions, and returning with stories that will last a lifetime.
Mission and values
At En Route, we believe it's never too late to discover new places, live new experiences, and create unforgettable memories.
Our mission is to develop travel programs specifically designed for Seniors, whether private or group trips, with or without accompaniment during the journey. Each experience is carefully designed once we understand the interests, expectations and needs of each client, guaranteeing an exclusive service characterised by comfort, safety and attention to every detail.
More than just organizing trips, we want to provide moments of happiness, togetherness and well-being, promoting autonomy, discovery, and quality of life. We believe that everyone deserves to continue traveling at their own pace and with the peace of mind of feeling supported and valued.
Inclusion is one of the pillars of our identity. That's why we've also developed and adapted programs for people with reduced mobility, pet-friendlyfriendly trips for those who wouldn't even consider leaving their four-legged friends behind, and initiatives with a strong social character, making experiences more meaningful for everyone.
We equally value authenticity of the destinations we visit. We work exclusively with trusted partners, deeply connected to the local communities, who share with us a respect for the people, traditions, culture and know-how of each region. We believe that the best trips are those that create genuine connections between those who visit and those who receive.
Social responsibility is also part of our commitment. Therefore, a percentage of the value of each program is allocated to support animal protection associations in Pinhal Novo, the town where our founder grew up. It's our way of giving back to the community and contributing to a cause that aligns with the values guiding this project.
The Founder
I am Portuguese and, throughout my personal and professional journey, I have had the opportunity to live between Portugal and Belgium, and also briefly in France. These experiences have shaped my worldview and my way of working with people. I am fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, which allows me to communicate easily and build trusting relationships with clients and partners of different nationalities.
For over 14 years I have developed my career in Brussels in the field of Public Affairs. It was an extremely enriching experience in an international context that I greatly appreciate. This allowed me to develop skills in areas such as organization, negotiation, project management and interpersonal relationships. At the same time, I volunteer with the Belgian Red Cross in a program that supports elderly people suffering from social isolation, which greatly fulfills and satisfies me.
However, I always felt I wanted to put that experience to use in a project that was closer to people and had a direct impact on their quality of life. It was this desire that gave rise to En Route. Une vie. Des voyages, a project that brings together two of my greatest passions: connecting with Seniors and planning memorable trips.
I deeply believe that each person can contribute to making society more humane, more inclusive, and more supportive. This conviction guides my daily work and motivates me to offer a service of excellence, based on closeness, empathy, respect, and trust.
